Differences between cultures.

This video helps to break different imaginaries to have people from United States about Latin American people. This is useful because it bring near the cultures through an ironic tone.

THEORIC FRAMEWORK

Languages are one of the most important aspects in the culture because they mark different speeches, linguistics codes and ways to communicate in the daily life. For this reason is important know the methods for learn them. but also, the methods are not the first step to learn because exist different agents which are used as motivators, for example the wish for travel, the necessity of learn it in our school or job and want to know it for speak with people from other countries. In this case , I will focus in the mass media as social motivators for learn Spanish in USA for identify other reasons of why people decide learn this language in a country , having account that their mother language is user than Spanish in world.

“Mass media show the importance that Spanish is acquiring in other formal contexts of American life and constitute a nexus between cultures. They have also conquered students of Spanish as a foreign language as an audience, as they consider media an important source of linguistic and cultural input”(Fonseca,C y García,L) . Based in the authors , is appropriate to claim that this aspects can be disseminate the culture , or in this case learn language through medias as , journal, television , radio among others. I think, that is important focus in the use of mass media in learning different aspects related to Latin American Spanish.

“The analysis of the survey results reveals that mass media have a high impact on the social motivation to learn Spanish as a foreign language of these students, that is to say, the possibility of working with and assisting the Hispanic population is rated as a main career opportunity. Mass media show the importance that Spanish is acquiring in other formal contexts of American life and constitute a nexus between cultures.” According with the last authors theory , the language is a useful tool for get job, then the Spanish learners search to get not only a language but also learn different aspects of the culture , also its can say that other reason is that a lot of USA students want to go to study in Spain and other Latin-American Countries
